AUROOM ART is a contemporary art platform established in Guildford, UK in 2016. Dedicated to embrace a new geopolitical significance of Central Asia, AUROOM ART presents international audiences a strong sense of the overlooked, yet exceptional contemporary art made in the region.
Fostering and expanding the dialogue between East and West, AUROOM ART focuses on four key activities – exhibitions, education, artist residency and consultation.
Currently featuring a core group of established artists from Kazakhstan, AUROOM ART aims to promote their work internationally.
Founded by an artist Uriya Jurik, UK and a high-fashion designer Assiya Daribekova, Italy, both from Kazakhstan, who have been living in Europe for many years, the gallery has its finger on the pulse of contemporary art across Central Asia and is offering public, corporate and private collectors its unique expertise in building the bridges and acquiring art from this rapidly emerging market.
To increase interest in the region AUROOM ART also hosts alternative programs and discussions and develops cultural exchange with local and international art professionals and enthusiasts.
